3. Intellectual Property Rights
All right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including the website design, logos, brand name, graphics, and the compiled WebAssembly parser (excluding any open-source libraries used, which remain governed by their respective licenses), are and will remain the exclusive property of PDFtoMD. 4. Local Processing and File Content
You retain full ownership of all files and content you import into the converter. PDFtoMD does not upload, copy, store, or transmit your documents. You are solely responsible for the content of the files you import and must ensure you have the legal right, ownership, or permission to convert them.
5. Acceptable Use and Restrictions
PDFtoMD is currently free to use for personal and professional purposes. However, you agree not to:
- Abuse, disrupt, or attempt to compromise the website infrastructure or security.
- Access or use the Service through automated means, including bots, scrapers, scripts, or unauthorized API wrappers.
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purposes.
- Because the conversion runs entirely on your local device, you are solely responsible for any computing and hardware resources consumed.
